OnSong 2020.3

OnSong 2020.3 was released on March 25, 2020. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:

New

  • NEW Multiple Actions for OnSong Premium performs multiple actions at once or one at a time.
  • NEW Double Tap for OnSong Premium lets you double the options of foot pedals or screen taps.
  • NEW Advanced Email for OnSong Premium gives you control over the look and content of your emails.

Additions

  • Added social media links in the Utilities Menu under Communicate. »
  • Added the ability to turn off automatic backups unless on WiFi. »
  • Added the ability to check for updates in the new "System Information" section. »
  • Added the ability to turn the visual metronome off without setting the colors to black. »
  • Added the ability to rename a motion background. »
  • Added the ability to link video files when missing in the background media library. »
  • Added the ability to use NRPN for MIDI index retrieval.
  • Added the ability to log into Dropbox on iOS 9 devices using a code entry system.
  • Added the ability to change live bar values while switching songs with a foot pedal.

Changes

  • Changed the email screen to move Manage Contacts into the lower left with an icon. »
  • Changed the Other sources screen to have a + button at the bottom, keeping the edit button on top. »
  • Changed the MIDI editor to allow for a delay of up to 10 seconds. »
  • Changed the icons in the Choose Custom Track list to be more compact and uniform. »
  • Changed the System Information screen in settings to provide more details. »
  • Changed the way chord diagrams are displayed within lyrics to match font size, color, and highlight attributes.
  • Changed the song menu screens to use a dark grey background instead of black background when in low light mode.
  • Changed the external video menu to mute background video to avoid unexpected audio output.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue when accessing Files to import on iOS 9 and 10.
  • Fixed an issue where outputting the HTML song list names the file “All Songs.html”.
  • Fixed an issue with ChordPro Compatibility Processing.
  • Fixed an issue where diagrams are not displayed in the order they are played in the song viewer.
  • Fixed an issue when sending diagnostics information in the Get Support screen.
  • Fixed a crash condition when browsing an FTP directory containing Norwegian characters.
  • Fixed an issue where drawing annotations no longer outputs when printing.
  • Fixed an issue where the updates list is not low light mode capable.
  • Fixed an issue where delayed triggered actions with parameters would not fire.

  • Fixed an issue with chord diagrams placed above or below the chart using normalized chord names instead of user-specified ones.
  • Fixed an issue with chord diagrams being cut off in the chord diagram library.
  • Fixed an issue where the terms of use and privacy policy were not being displayed on the subscription page.
  • Fixed an issue that you can't close out of the create account screen when opened from the Upgrade Now button.
  • Fixed an issue where the document scanner overlay does not align properly in the add songs menu.

Removals

  • Removed the Default option from the action chooser for hot corners since there are no default actions.
  • Removed Default actions from the action chooser for MIDI triggers since there is no default actions.
  • Removed the Show Icon in Menubar option in Settings when using an iPhone.
