Sticky Notes
OnSong is designed to replace paper, so it's only natural to use metaphors and tools that we've come to rely on with paper charts. Sticky notes allow you to apply notes to a song to remind you of who's starting the song or other hints that help you play.
Adding
When you tap on the Sticky Note option in the Annotations Menu, a blank sticky note is added to the page. The Sticky Note Editor is then opened and you can start typing and formatting your note.
Placing
You use gestures to manipulate sticky notes and other annotations on your page. You can tap to select the sticky note and then use your one finger to drag the sticky note around the screen to place it. Use two fingers to move and then rotate or pinch the sticky note to turn it or make it bigger or smaller. Below are more ways you can interact with your sticky notes.
Editing
Once a sticky note is on the page, double-tap (or double-click on a Mac) to open the Sticky Note Editor. You can also edit sticky notes right on the page when tap on it when it's already selected.
Context Menu
There's so much more that you can do with a sticky note and that is all done through a context menu. On tap and hold (iOS and iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) on the sticky note to open the context menu. Here you can edit the sticky note, change formatting, pin, delete, or even add it to your annotations library.
Deleting
To delete a sticky note, you can open the context menu and choose the delete option, or open the (editor)[editor] and tap on the trash can icon in the menubar. Either way, you can remove the sticky note without any paper waste.
